During the reduction of the Yellowstone herd of elk, undertaken early in 1935, I was afforded unusual opportunities to study the parasites, diseases, and pregnancy of this animal. At the time there was maintained a careful check of the animals slaughtered, and this report constitutes a summary of the results.
